Interested in Donating?
TechCycle accepts complete electronics, loose parts and accessories that can be repaired, reused, harvested for components, or responsibly recycled.
What We Accept
Computers, laptops, tablets, phones, monitors, hard drives, SSDs, RAM, CPUs, GPUs, power supplies, motherboards, chargers, batteries, networking equipment, cables and adapters.
Gaming Equipment
Video game consoles, handhelds, physical games, controllers, docks, memory cards, power supplies, video cables and gaming accessories are welcome too.
Even One Part Helps
A single hard drive, stick of RAM, charger, keyboard, controller or cable might be exactly what is needed to finish another device.
Before you donate
A few steps help us safely prepare equipment for its next user.
1. Back up what you need
Donated storage may be erased as part of intake and refurbishment. Make a copy of anything you want to keep before donating.
2. Remove locks & passcodes
Please remove screen passcodes, Apple Activation Lock, Google Factory Reset Protection and other account/device locks whenever possible.
3. Include the useful extras
Include batteries, chargers, docks, cables, cases, controllers and other accessories you would like passed along with the equipment.
Data sanitization
You may erase a device yourself or allow TechCycle to sanitize its storage. Devices are not intentionally redistributed with a previous user's data.
Clean operating-system preparation
Computers are reinstalled using the original factory-included license, COA, or digital entitlement where applicable, then updated with current operating system updates and manufacturer-provided drivers/firmware before redistribution.
TechCycle is operated by two friends as a hobby. Labor is always free, but turnaround time is not guaranteed.
